Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED

Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED teaches participants to provide first aid, perform CPR, and
use an automated external defibrillator (AED) safely and effectively. 

The Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course is designed for anyone with little or no medical
training who needs an OSHA-compliant course completion card—or anyone who simply wants to be ready to respond in an emergency. It is instructor-led, in-classroom learning with hands-on practice.

Basic Life Support (BLS Certification)

The BLS Provider Course is designed for healthcare professionals and trained first responders who provide care to patients in a wide variety of settings, as well as individuals enrolled in a healthcare training program.

The BLS Instructor-led course teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both out-of-hospital and in-hospital, with a focus on High-Quality CPR and team dynamics.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

PALS is intended for healthcare professionals who respond to emergencies in infants and children and for personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units that encounter pediatric patients on a regular basis. 

Instructor-led Training (ILT): This course option is led by a PALS Instructor in a classroom setting. The Training Center may choose for students to complete online video pre-work lessons before coming to class, or may choose to conduct a traditional PALS course, where all video lessons are conducted in class as interactive discussions with the students.

Full Course and Update Course options remain available. The PALS course uses pre-course preparation, didactic instruction, and active participation in learning stations and simulated cases to enhance the recognition and intervention of respiratory emergencies, shock, and cardiopulmonary arrest.

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

For healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiac arrest, stroke, or other cardiopulmonary emergencies. This advanced course highlights the importance of high-performance team dynamics and communication, systems of care, recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute dysrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes (ACS).

All of our instructor courses include video training, a multiple-choice exam, and an in-class skill evaluation; and require two in-class training days.

The needed equipment is provided. You must bring a non-certified person to class with you on your second class day for your hands-on training.

There is an AHA required online pre-course to take prior to your first course day.
