Jenelle Dugan started her career as a scientist in biological sciences and chemistry, with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and minor in chemistry and psychology at Delta State University. Then spent 7 years in food science with an emphasis on food quality and food safety before pursuing her career in medicine. Her education continued with obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at one of Texas leading nursing schools, Texas Woman’s University; where she graduated cum lade. She completed her academic journey by obtaining her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner, graduating at the top of her class and being inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Then furthering her knowledge by obtaining her Functional Medicine Nurse Practitioner Certification.

Her personal practice philosophy is: Holistic care and forging relationships with people to understand their health needs and goals and working collaboratively with each individual to develop a plan to achieve their best possible state of health.

Jenelle’s foundational beliefs in God as creator of all play an upfront and important role in her drive, determination, decision making, and ability to provide exceptional patient care.
